This persistent variable indicates the desired severity level to be associated with the log event and the SNMP trap that record the occurance of a particular event. In this case, the event indicates the detection of a transition of the transmitter-synthesizer alarm condition on the Radio. This severity level variable is associated with the 'txSynthTrap' trap, and a log event message that indicates a change in this condition within the Radio. 'critical' is the highest severity level, followed in decreasing order by 'major', 'minor', 'warning', and 'normal', which is the lowest severity level. The default severity level is 'normal'. This trap may also be filtered by 'mgmtTxSynthTrapControl'.
